These two letters are from Lord Burlington's sister, Elizabeth. She writes in 1719 to tell her brother [who is possibly abroad] that she is married to Sir Harry Bedingfeld.
She then writes thirty years later of wishing to see Lord Burlington when he was in town before he went to 'the Bath' but being unable to and hoping to see him this time if her swollen legs heal. She is happy to hear of his health from her daughter at Tunbridge and thanks him for the kindness paid to her daughter by him, Lady Burlington and Lord and Lady Hartington. Signed 'E Bedingfeld'.
