William Anne van Keppel, 2nd Earl of Albemarle was born on 5 June 1702 at Whitehall Palace, Whitehall, London, England. He was the son of Arnold Joost van Keppel, 1st Earl of Albemarle and Gertrude de Quirna van der Duyn.1 He was baptised on 16 June 1702 at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Church, Covent Garden, London, EnglandG, with Queen Anne I of Great Britain as his godparent(s.) He married Lady Anne Lennox, daughter of Charles Lennox, 1st Duke of Richmond and Anne Brudenell, on 21 February 1722 at Caversham, Oxfordshire, England. He died on 22 December 1754 at age 52 at Paris, FranceG, suddenly, in his coach after supper.2 He was buried on 21 February 1755 at Chapel, South Audley Street, Grosvenor Sqaure, London, England He died intestate and his estate was administered on 15 February 1758.
