The author writes concerning the recipients plan to go to Compton Place and his intention to take the children to Portsmouth Dockyard. He asks whether she has had any other account of Uncle Lismore who has shown great strength and may still recover. He writes of visiting Lord Sheffield and a cruise with the children which caused him to be very sea sick. He also mention a woman [Sunmore?] possibly a servant. Written from Brighton. Signed "GHC".
