Scope and Content

These letters predominently written by Selina Trimmer date from the 6th Duke's adulthood. She describes her movements and asks favours of the Duke as well as informing him of Lady Caroline's health and the death of Lady Caroline's mother Lady Bessborough.

In the last letter Juliana Trimmer writes to inform the 6th Duke of her sister Selina Trimmer's death and reflects on her character as well as acknowledging the items to be sent to the Duke including a portrait and the diary of Lady Spencer.
