The author writes to his granddaughter Lady Burlington concerning some venison he sent and her time in Tunbridge Wells for her health.

He writes to Lord Duncannon concerning a letter to Captain Wickham and protecting and releasing a man on the wishes of his Grace, rather than due to his own decision-making.

He writes to Katherine Hoskins, Duchess of Devonshire concerning the Act of Parliament for enclosing Edgerton and the 3rd Duke's estate at Martinsthorpe in Rutland.
