Letters from John Heaton, Charles Heaton and Marianne Ellis (née Heaton) to William Spencer Cavendish, 6th Duke of Devonshire

These letters are primarily from John Heaton, agent to the Duke of Devonshire, to William Cavendish 6th Duke of Devonshire, concerning estate matters and the Duke's personal accounts. Upon Heaton's death his grandson Charles communicated his passing to the Duke, and his daughter Marianne wrote to ask the Duke a favour.
