The author writes concerning the news that Lady [Harries] has been delivered of a boy and she and the baby are well. He adds that Boyle Andrews is lurking around Lismore Castle wishing for admittance and that if John Voss was not put in position, Boyle may have the vacancy. He mentions letters that have arrived and someone who John thinks has died. Written from Dublin. Signed 'J. Coughlan'.
