This drawing is in brown pencil of a boy sitting on a stump or sack, balancing his left foot on the knee of his right and picking at his foot. At the bottom of the drawing is written "Lord Percy's Drawing Anno 1664". It is held in a paper packet sewn on two sides which also includes Percy's name and the year. In a different hand is written "Lady Russell" on the front of the packet. Possibly it was a drawing kept by Lady Russell from her half-sister Elizabeth Wriothesley and drawn by Jocelyn Percy, her brother-in-law and was enclosed with CS1/15/1.
