Scope and Content

This small drawing includes the reproduction of two gravestones both with crosses, one with a sword and the other with a sextant. The one with a sword includes the name Gilbert Keighley. The measurements of the stones are written on the sides. There is no indication who drew this item or who sent it.

Custodial History

Originally catalogued as 'Letter from Sir Richard Coke Wilmot to the Duke of Devonshire, 30 September 835'. It is not clear from the sheet why this is or whether there was an accompanying letter with this drawing previously.
