Scope and Content

The author who is part of Sir Arthur Rawdon's Regiment of Dragoons writes that he has been forced to leave the Kingdom of Ireland and is on his way to London. He writes that he encloses his account of Ireland for his majesty which he requests Lord Halifax to pass on, on his behalf, as his journey has become so delayed by storm and flood and he does not wish to delay the report.
