Lady Shaftesbury writes of her visitors and the news from shared acquaintances including 'Queen Joseph', Lady Cooper, Sister [Drogheda], and Lady Harvey. She also mentions going into the city for 'Indian things' and her thanks to Lord Bedford for the venison he sent her. She sends wishes to Lady Margaret, Lady Cavendish and Queen Katerine of Hungary. Written from St Jones's. Addressed to Lady Russell at Woburn. Signed 'M. Shaftesbury'. Endorsed by Lady Russell.
