James Firth Heslop d.1978

Heslop was a medical graduate of the University of Manchester. He held house and resident posts at RMI, and trained as a neurosurgeon under Geoffrey Jefferson. He later studied urology at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore. After war service in RAMC, he was a consultant surgeon at Park Hospital, Davyhulme, where he remained for the rest of his career.
