Administrative / Biographical History

MRCS 1840; LSA 1841.

Milner gained his medical education at Manchester Royal School of Medicine. He was a general practitioner in Manchester and Salford in practice with Edmund Taylor, and was sometimes referred to as the 'Oldfield Lane Doctor'. Milner died on 11 July 1882 aged 64. His son Edmund Taylor Milner was also a doctor in Salford (see above).
