Eliza Marple Holt, [1841?]-1926.

Holt, of Southport, died aged eighty five, on 16 August 1926, leaving a legacy to the University of Manchester to establish a scholarship for medical women. She also left substantial sums to the Homeopathic Cottage Hospital, Southport, the Manchester and Salford Lock Hospital, and the Manchester Homeopathic Institution among others. Very little is known about Eliza Holt herself.
