Philip Hodgson Jones, b 1949.

Jones gained his medical education in Cambridge and London, qualifying in 1974. He held resident ENT appointments in London, coming to Manchester in 1981 as senior registrar in ENT. Jones was later consultant ENT surgeon to South the University of Manchester Hospitals.
