Malyn was a medical pupil in Manchester, was a practitioner in Manchester in the early nineteenth century. He was physician's clerk to the home patients at MRI from 1823 to 1826. By 1845, Malyn was practicing in London. In 1850, after his death, his books, many of which were in French, were left to MRI.
