Helen Margaret Lewis, née Goodman, b 1948.

Helen, the son of Aaron Isaac Goodman (see MMC/2/GoodmanA), gained her medical education at the University of London, qualifying in 1971. She was registrar in paediatrics at Northwick Park Hospital, Harrow, and senior registrar at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital before being appointed consultant paediatrician at Trafford General Hospital in 1983, when she also became honorary consultant to the Manchester Children's Hospital.
