Lee, possibly a son of Edmund Lee, was a medical student at Owens College Manchester and was senior resident medical officer at St Mary's Hospital Manchester before being appointed honorary anaesthetist at Manchester Northern Hospital sometime before 1920. He held this position until the 1950s when he retired.
