Administrative / Biographical History

Oldham received the MRCS Edinburgh in 1834. He was in practice in Ashton-under-Lyne. Although he is described as a former surgeon at the cholera hospital, Manchester, there is no conclusive proof that he was the same Robert Oldham involved in the mutilated corpse incident.
