Administrative / Biographical History

Arthur Norris studied medicine at Manchester and St Thomas' Hospital, London. He later took the DPH at Manchester in 1910. He was an assistant medical officer at Manchester Children's Hospital Pendlebury. In 1914 he joined the Home Office and ended his career as chief inspector of the Children's Branch at the Home Office.
