(上部, maki 1) ff. 1 (自序), 49; (上, 2) ff. 51; (上, 3) ff. 43; (上, 4) ff. 37; (上, 5) ff. 42; (上, 6) ff. 41; (上, 7) ff. 45; (上, 8) ff. 49; (下部, 1) ff. 39; (下, 2) ff. 38; (下, 3) ff. 47; (下, 4) ff. 38; (下, 5) ff. 35; (下, 6) ff. 33, [1] (batsu 跋). 26.9 x 19.2 cm. Fukurotoji. Blockprint. Printing frame 20.5 x 17 cm. (average). No borders. No vertical rules between text and hanshin. No fishtail design on hanshin. Hiragana-majiri text with printed furigana (katakana), and with some passages in kanbun interspersed. 10 lines to page, variable no. of characters to line. Original mid-blue front cover of maki 1 only, retaining upper part of original printed title slip. Gedai: 野槌. No naidai. Hashiragaki: Nozuchi 埜槌上 (下) + maki no. + folio no. In a western style half-leather binding. Edition: The earliest edition recorded. Contents: A commentary by Hayashi Razan on Yoshida Kenkō's Tsurezuregusa 徒然草, completed in Genna 7 (1621), accompanied by the original text. First preface and batsu signed by the compiler.

- 1 volume Condition: Fair to good. Minor worm damage (unrepaired) in places, and a few stained folios. Impression: Atozuri from moderately worn blocks for the most part, but some folios are sharper and clearer. Seals of ownership: None. Manuscript notes: Textual headnotes in red, believed to date from mid-Edo period, scattered throughout the work.
