- Physical Description
- 1 volume Condition: Fair to good. Some illustrations marred by crudity of hand-colouring and offset colours. Many folios soiled at lower fore-edge. Impression: An early impression, sharp and clear. Illustrations: Sumizuri woodcuts on every page, in typical Moronobu style, depicting themes from poems of the Hyakunin isshu in Edo-period genre settings. All illustrations partially hand-coloured by an unpractised hand. Seals of ownership: Small red oblong seal, Shisei zō 只誠藏 (seal of Sekine Shisei 關根只誠) on ff. 1a, 20a and 33a. These were evidently the first folios of satsu 1, 2 and 3.
