No colophon. Description: 1 kan, 1 satsu. ff. 56, [1] (batsu). 31.4 x 21.3 cm. Fukurotoji. Movable type. Printing frame 21.5 x 17.3 cm. Double-line borders all round. Fishtail design on hanshin. Kanbun text, without printed kunten or reading marks. 9 lines to page, 16 characters to line. Original covers, mid- to dark-brown, without title slip. Gedai handwritten in red ink: 錦繡叚 (ママ) 完. Naidai at head of text: Shinkan kinshūdan 新刋錦繡叚 (ママ). Hashiragaki: Kinshūdan 錦繡叚 (ママ) + folio no. In a modern chitsu case. Edition: The second Japanese edition of this work, printed with movable type in Keichō period, probably within a few years of publication of the earliest edition, a chokuhan 勅版 dated Keichō 2, 1597. A batsu by the compiler, Ten'in Ryūtaku, follows the last numbered folio (56) of the present copy, ending with the following two lines: 庚 (ママ) [=康] 正丙子林鐘十有七日 / 建仁天隱叟默雲龍澤. Contents: An anthology of 7-syllable poems by Chinese poets of the Tang, Song and Yuan periods, selected and edited by the monk Ryūtaku in Kōshō 2 康正二年, 1456 (date reprinted in batsu above). Ryūtaku, a scholar of note in the Gozan monasteries of Kyōto, argued a close relationship between Chinese poetry and Zen.

- 1 volume Condition: Fair to good. Worm damage considerable, but skilfully repaired by urauchi throughout the book. Damp stains in some upper margins. Impression: Clear and sharp, from scarcely-worn type. Seals of ownership: Large oblong black seal, Enman'in hōzō 圓満院法藏, following batsu on last printed page. Manuscript notes: Okurigana (katakana) and kaeriten added throughout, with a few shubiki in red on ff. 1-17.
