Administrative / Biographical History

Wood qualified at the University of Manchester in 1913. After war service, he was lecturer in the department of anatomy at the University. He was awarded a MD with gold medal for work on the musculature of the hand in 1923. Wood was later professor of anatomy at Liverpool University.
