Charles Metcalfe Brown b.1902

Brown was educated at Glasgow University, He took a DPH from London University and worked in public health posts in Leicester, the Isle of Wight, Middlesex, Hull, Dewsbury, and Middlesbrough. Brown was MOH for Manchester from 1942 and Port Medical Officer of the Manchester Port Health Authority from 1952.
