Administrative / Biographical History

Bowden was educated at Owens College, taking his MRCS and LSA in 1887. He was a consultant surgeon at Warrington Infirmary, medical officer for the Post Office at Warrington, a certifying factory surgeon and a police surgeon. He was father of William Ernest Bowden.
