M.R.C.S. 1830
Blackmore was senior surgeon at the Manchester Lock Hospital. He lived at Byrom House, Quay St., central Manchester. Jordan Life of Jordan p.43, records him as being a pupil at Mount St. Medical School. It is possible that it was this Blackmore the same work records as giving medical lectures at his house in Piccadilly in the 1830s. He had several children, including Alfred Blackmore.
