Administrative / Biographical History

Didbury qualified MB ChB from the University of Manchester in 1950. He worked in public health posts in Smethwick, Great Yarmouth, and West Ham. In 1964 he became a medical officer with the Ministry of Health, and was senior principal medical officer with the Department of Education at the time of his death.
