Edghill held house positions at Bridgwater General Hospital and the Northern Hospital for Women and Children before working as assistant medical officer for Manchester Children's Hospital (Gartside Street Dispensary). She later worked in general practice in Rawtenstall, Lancashire. Edghill was a member of Manchester Medical Society and the Medical Women's Federation. She died on 29 March 1944.
