Administrative / Biographical History

Davey took his medical degree from the University of Manchester in 1940. He worked at Macclesfield General Hospital as a surgical registrar, before specialising in venereology, becoming consultant venereologist to MRHB, and a lecturer in venereology at the University of Manchester. He was the son of Alfred Davey (see below).
