Ms register of cases, completed by S. A. Stephens (25 May 1951-24 October 1953), recording the births that she attended as a pupil and then as a certified midwife in and around Swansea in Wales, including details of the name, age, address and pregnancy history of the patient, the date and hour of the birth, the presentation of the child at birth, the sex of the child, whether the child was born living or dead, whether the child was premature or full term, the name of the doctor if called, if there were any complications during and after labour, the date of her last visit and the condition of the mother and infant on her last visit as well as further remarks, such as the drugs administered to the mother during labour.
