Printed certificate awarded to Mrs Amy Rebecca Brownridge for her service as a midwife during the Second World War by the Council of the Borough of Gravesend (25 May 1948), together with her obituary that appeared in the Reporter (6 February 1960).

Mrs Amy Rebecca Brownridge (1883-1960) was born in Gillingham, Kent. She went on to become a midwife who worked in Gravesend from 1925 to her retirement in 1948.
