Scope and Content

This collection comprises registers of cases, antenatal record forms, case notes, pulse and temperature charts, notification forms, cash books and correspondence (1 August 1932-3 March 1955), relating to the births attended by Clara Morris as a midwife at the City Maternity Hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and then around the area of Brierley Hill near Dudley, Staffordshire.

Administrative / Biographical History

Clara Morris (fl. 1920-1950) was a midwife who trained at the City Maternity Hospital in Stoke-on-Trent between 1932 to 1933. She then went on to practice around Brierley Hill near Dudley during the Second World War.
