Scope and Content

Ms training record of Kristy Kay, pupil midwife at Greenwich and Bexley School of Midwifery (3 September 1984-14 April 1985), recording how she spent her first sixteen weeks at the hospital, including her attendance at lectures, tutorials and study days in midwifery, obstetrics, paediatrics, community health and parentcraft, also detailing the births that she attended, the antenatal examinations she performed, the postnatal care she was involved in providing, the abnormal paediatric and placental conditions that she witnessed and the administration of analgesia and epidural anaesthesia.
