Ms register of cases attended by F. P. P. Edwards, midwife at Nuneaton General Hospital (9 March 1942-17 March 1945), listing the name, age, address, pregnancy history and expected date of confinement of each patient, the date and hour they were admitted to the hospital, the presentation of the child, the date and hour of the birth of the child, the sex of the child and whether born living or dead, whether the child was premature, the name of the doctor if called, if there were any complications during or after labour, including whether induced or if a caesarean section had to be undertaken, the date of discharge from hospital, the condition of the mother and child on their discharge, as well as any further remarks, such as whether a case was admitted as an emergency and if forceps were used during a delivery.
