Three ms case registers, containing records of the births attended by Ellen Cunliffe at St Helens, Lancashire (1928-1957), noting expected and actual dates of confinement, name, age and address of mother, number of previous labours and miscarriages, date and hour of child's birth, sex and health of the child, condition of mother and any additional notes, such as drugs administered and whether or not the mother was breastfeeding the infant, also including lists of miscarriages that she attended.
