This collection comprises four ms midwifery case registers of various midwives who practiced under the jurisdiction of the Cornwall County Council (17 July 1963-21 June1973), recording the name and address of the mother, the date of the birth, whether the doctor was book and/or present, whether the mother received gas and air or pethidine and the method of feeding the child.
