Copy of a ts letter sent to friends and colleagues by Vera Watson (15 February 1954), relating to her experiences of working on a project to improve maternal and child health in Taiwan for the World Health Organisation, including descriptions the organisation of maternity services and the training programme for midwife teachers, as well as the population, geography and culture of the area, as well as accompanied by photographs, postcards and ink sketches, with annotations, of the local landscape and people (circa. 1960-1970).
