Scope and Content

This collection comprises six ms midwives drugs book, recording the drugs administered to new and expectant mothers attended by Joyce Tarlton, whilst practicing as a midwife in Nottinghamshire (5 May 1954-16 February 1973), together with nine ms books of midwives forms for sending for medical aid, notifications of death or still births, liability to be a source of infection and artificial feeding, also completed by Miss Tarlton (2 November 1950-16 February 1973).
