Ms register of cases attended by Mrs Marjorie H. Benson during her time practicing as a midwife at the Firs Maternity Hospital in Nottingham (25 November 1952-15 November 1968), including the name, address and age of each patient, as well as the number of previous labours and miscarriages, the date and hour of her arrival, the presentation of the infant on birth, the date and hour of the birth, the sex and whether the child was born living or dead, whether the child was premature, the name of the doctor if called, if there were any complications during or after labour, the date of her last visit, the condition of the mother and child on her last visit and then any further remarks, such as whether gas and air was administered during or after labour.

Mrs Marjorie H. Benson, nee Redfern (fl. 1930-1970) was a midwife who practiced for a time at the Firs Maternity Hospital in Nottingham.
