Administrative / Biographical History

John Priestley studied medicine at Owens College, and Edinburgh University. He was a former assistant lecturer in physiology at Owens College, and a physician at the Manchester Hospital for Consumption and Diseases of the Throat. He later a school medical inspector for Staffordshire.
