Administrative / Biographical History

McMahon qualified in medicine from University College Galway in 1979, gaining his MD in 1992. He held resident appointments in Galway and came to Manchester in 1984 as lecturer in pathology and honorary senior registrar. In 1990 McMahon became honorary consultant in pathology.
