BA Lond 1862; MRCS LSA 1869.

Kennedy studied medicine at MRI and Royal Manchester School of Medicine. He applied for a post at MRI in 1871 but does not appear to have been successful. Kennedy appears in the 1880 medical directory, practicing in Gorton, Manchester.
