John Lord

In 1774 an Oldham surgeon named John Lord was married. In 1815, a surgeon named John Lord, this time a widower from Manchester, was married. An 1825 street directory of Manchester lists John Lord as a surgeon practicing in Long Millgate. Eighteenth Century Medics lists a John Lord, MD (Glasgow), born before 1745, died after 1815. He was a surgeon and apothecary practicing in Long Millgate, Manchester. It seems possible that these sources all refer to the same man.
