J.H. Kitchen was house surgeon at MRI in 1894 (a position usually held soon after qualifying), he does not appear in the medical directory for 1900. In 1892, F.H. Kitchen signed a petition favouring the extension of MRI at Piccadilly, but no F.H. Kitchin appears in the medical directory for 1890 or 1900. This may actually have been J.H. Kitchen, or alternatively Charles Frederick Hewick Kitchen.
