Administrative / Biographical History

William Headridge was a dentist who practised in Manchester from 1858. He was involved in the establishment of the Victoria Dental Hospital, and participated in the movement which led to passing of the Dental Act in 1878. He was a founder and president of the Manchester Odontological Society.
