Scope and Content

Baxter’s opinion on some case of conscience respecting the relation of husband and wife, they being of different communions in respect of baptism. Includes: ‘Answer 1˚ As a man is the Governor of his children, so is he of his wife: And in this Government he ought to conduct her to & in the true worship of God, & shee ought therin to obey him under God.’
