Concluding portion of a collection of religious stories. By an unknown hand, resembling Lord Lauderdale’s; a fragment in octavo.

  • ‘Made such, disordered speed. To the Assembly of the Catholicks, sayd the woman. Alas poor soul, said he, dost thou not know the Emperors Command. I know replyed she, And that all these persones & provisions are intended to the slaughter of them,’ f 51v: ‘Oswin King of Northumberland was a Man Tall in Stature’ f 53r: ‘Saint Jerome writing to Eustachia tells her’ f 53 r: ‘There was a wise man as his neighbours called him, & a good father’
