An anonymous letter to Baxter, stating (and also including in shorter form) a case of proposed marriage, between a conformist man and a nonconforming woman. Both papers by unknown hands: directed to Baxter at Totteridge. His judgement thereon seems to be contained in Treatise ii.34. Opens with, '‘Honorable Sir, I am A person unknown to you, only by reading Some of your Books, which have rendred you in my Judgment. One the most rationall and most conscientious, and most edifying Christian Teacher as this day our Country inioyeth;’
