Baxter’s answer to Warren’s Animadversions on his first justification. Treatises xiv, 321-324 are all in one quarto volume.

'I am glad you begin your assault against my Distinction of Gods will; because you will occation the clearing of my meaning. & because it is to mee of so exceeding use & moment, that if it fall abundance of notions will fall with it which I have built thereupon:’ f 110r: ‘ffarewell November 7. 1649.’
